Locks Sailing Club web site membership
The membership system is for members only to create an online account which they
can use to login to the site.
To apply for an account click on the 'Create account' link top right and complete
the form.
You will need to enter your full name so that we can
identify you as a club member, an email address and also a username and
password.
The password supplied must be at least 7 characters long and include numbers and
letters; do not forget the password you supply at this stage although you can
request a password reset later should you forget it.
If the account request is approved you will receive an email to let you know,
this will not be immediate.
Also now there is a 'Remember me' check box by the login - this means you will
not have to login next time you visit, only use this if you do not share logins
to your PC with others and never from a public PC (web cafe etc) if in doubt
make sure you click 'logout' when you are done viewing the site.
Race Duties
Once your account has been approved you may log in and volunteer for duties on the calendar page by
clicking on any duty listed as 'available'.
Privacy
We are only collecting minimal member data in the site at this stage,
full names and email addresses.
No data will ever be distributed outside of LSC and personal email addresses will never
be exposed on the web site.
Email addresses will be used for club related purposes such as newsletters and
duty reminders.
